Challenge Description

Describe the approaches taken so far.

Currently, logistics processes are largely carried out by manual labor. While standardized machines are used in some cases, comprehensive automation and intelligent networking of processes are lacking. Initial technological approaches on the market include: - Use of lightweight robots for simple palletizing tasks - Automated filling systems in food production - Mobile robotics to support internal transport. However, these solutions are often not flexible enough for dynamic production environments or sufficiently tailored to the requirements of the catering industry.

What must a suitable solution achieve? What technical requirements are already known?

A suitable solution should: - automate palletizing, filling, and internal transport - respond flexibly to different products and packaging - be hygienic and safe for food production - utilize AI-supported image processing and sensors - be integrable into existing systems and IT systems - be user-friendly, scalable, and adaptable
